I love spending my Saturday night eating and gossiping with this bunch of friends. We can chat about everything under the sun and most importantly nothing is taboo!!!
We started off from my apartment at about 7pm and headed towards Woo Lan Restaurant at Jalan Scott Brickfields. The restaurant looks rather old but the food, OMG, they were so good. We ordered mee suah, asam fish, fried pork (so delicious, best i’ve tasted)), veg & butter squid & the "si tau poh" was kind enough to give us free soup, which was boiled to perfection, so damn tasty. Everyone was raving on and on about how good the food was, seriously!!!! Ops..no pictures since I forgot my camera!!!! And the price - soooooo reasonable. It worked out to only RM20 p/person My friends commented that it has been quite some time since they have had such a cheap but fantastic meal….lol.
For dessert, it was a toss between Delicious, Bangsar and Nero Vivo. Since I’ve never been to Nero Vivo but have heard so much about it…hehehe….I managed to persuade the group there.
Mind you, if you ever want to go to Nero Vivo, do make a reservation. That place was so packed. I wanted a table at the terrace but the only table they have available was indoor. The noise….let me tell you…deafening. Leslie said Nero Vivo is like a high class pasar malam!!!
For dessert, we ordered nearly ALL the desserts available….well, there were not that many to choose from in the first place. We had the Tiramisu, Chocolate Flan, Pannacota & Crème brulee. I was not particularly impressed with the desserts, expect for the chocolate flan, which was out of this world! The chocolate cake was so sinfully rich and the chocolate sauce oozing out was just heavenly....yummy.
For the entire night from Woo Lan to Nero Vivo, the conversations flow like water. We talked about everything.....well...... not really...... SEX was the key topic. Btw, I learned that men like their anus to be licked……ahahahha…too much info????
