Frankly speaking, sitting thru 2 movies back to back is not my idea of fun.
However, since Leslie's company was nice enough to book the entire cinema, for staff & their spouse (hurray...) & children, to watch HELL BOY 2 & HANCOCK......how can I say NO to that :-) plus there were also yummy popcorns & cokes.
Let's get the review started.
HANCOCK - unbelievable..yup, that 1 word basically sums up the entire movie. 2 "beings", when together become human but when apart possess super human powers......jeezz......
But all is not lost, Charlize Theron looked absolutely fantabulous......
HELL BOY 2 - I dunno, but a story about someone/ something wanting global domination by unleashing unearthly army just does not appeal to me.
Over dinner, we agreed that the 2 movies just lacked a certain something. There were "feel-good" and funny moments, watchable but only when you've nothing else better to do!
Next stop : Dark Knight
